Captivate Explorers Camp is a full -day, integrated camp which shows how “Science and Art fit together.” Hands on learning is the core of the program, and exercise and social emotional learning are well balanced with age-appropriate academics. Our camp program fosters the development of the “whole child”.

Jr. M.D. - Explore the Human Body


NEW for 2022!

Are you interested in medicine? Want to be a doctor someday? Learn about your own body by doing hands-on experiments. Build a stethoscope and listen to a heart beat. Engage in several fun experiments using your senses and hand-eye coordination. Learn about your incredible brain and how it is the control center of your body. Learn all about the organs and organ systems inside your body which help keep you healthy and happy. This S.T.E.A.M. camp includes daily art/craft projects about the human body.

Introduction to Engineering


NEW for 2022!

Do you like to build things? Tinker? Through hands-on experiments and building projects, kids will build and test a variety of different projects, including: a helicopter, pinwheel, glider, balloon rocket, boat, etc. This camp is process based where students explore the concept of “itermations”- making improvements and modifications as part of the engineering design process. This S.T.E.A.M. camp includes daily art/craft projects about engineering and design.

Botany Bonanza- Stems, Roots, Shoots and Blooms

Are you a budding botanist? Love to garden? Germinate beans, cress and zinnia flowers. Dissect a flower and identify the parts. Experiment with a “greenhouse” dome. Learn about capillary action and the job of roots. This S.T.E.A.M. camp includes daily art/craft projects about plants.

Do you love science? This eclectic science camp has a variety of fun, hands-on experiments under 5 main themes: Nature, Physics, Chemistry, Air and Water. Students will get to use science tools to measure, test and magnify. This is the perfect introduction to science labs.
