Captivate Explorers Camp is a full -day, integrated camp which shows how “Science and Art fit together.” Hands on learning is the core of the program, and exercise and social emotional learning are well balanced with age-appropriate academics. Our camp program fosters the development of the “whole child”.

2024 Themes for Captivate Explorers Camp

‘Lil Engineer

In "Go! Go! Go! ‘Lil Engineer", your child will learn to think and tinker like an engineer. Love to build? This camp is for you. Build and test aircrafts, boats and autos in this fun, hands-on camp for little engineers. Draw “engineering diagrams” of your cool designs. This wonderful camp experience includes daily fine art projects, storytime, outside playtime and community building.

'Lil Botanist

Are you a budding botanist? Love to garden? Germinate beans, cress and zinnia flowers. Dissect a flower and identify the parts. Experiment with a “greenhouse” dome. Learn about capillary action and the job of roots. This S.T.E.A.M. camp includes daily art/craft projects about plants.

'Lil Zoologist

Learn all about amazing animals, from tiny insects to large predatory mammals. Learn about animal homes, or habitats, and how animals interact with other organisms in their environment.

'Lil Doctor

Want to be a doctor someday? Learn about your own body by doing hands-on experiments. Build a stethoscope and listen to a heart beat. Engage in several fun experiments using your senses and hand-eye coordination. Learn about your incredible brain and how it is the control center of your body. Discover organs and organ systems inside your body which help keep you healthy and happy. This S.T.E.A.M. camp includes daily art/craft projects about the human body.
